An industry veteran with nearly 30 years of experience, Robert helps clients build their wealth and confidence as they create the ideal future for themselves and their loved ones. An accomplished Investment Advisor, he provides comprehensive wealth management, including investment strategies and management, wealth creation, financial planning, estate planning and, when applicable, third-party services.
Robert always wanted to work in the financial industry. He had the excellent opportunity to learn about the business while working for his father, who had 25 years of experience at the time. Today, he complements his knowledge and expertise with the resources of RBC specialists to provide his clients with the ideal solutions for their often complex needs.
What Robert enjoys most about his work are the long-lasting relationships he builds with clients. As he and his team focus on providing clients with solutions and peace of mind, Robert finds it incredibly satisfying to witness their life’s progress, whether from work to retirement, parents to grandparents, or milestone to milestone.
Robert gives back to the community by supporting various local charitable organizations, including the Ottawa Hospital Foundation. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bishop’s University.
Outside of work, Robert spends quality time with his spouse, Inika, and enjoys hiking, practicing yoga, reading great literature, and learning to improve his skills in the culinary arts.
Associate
Alexander joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2023. As an Associate, he assists Robert in ensuring they deliver an excellent client experience while guiding each client toward their goals. His main responsibilities include financial planning, business development, market research, administration, and handling client requests.
Drawn to the industry by his passion for investing and the markets, Alexander enjoys helping people make informed decisions about their wealth. Clients appreciate his prompt responses, high level of care, and solution-oriented focus. Prior to joining Robert’s team, Alexander worked as a Policy and Research Analyst for the Mayor of Oakville, where he honed his analysis, communication, and collaboration skills.
Alexander has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) through the Canadian Securities Institute. He also earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from Queen’s University.
His leisure activities include all sports – especially basketball and football – and travelling.
